Kern Delta Communications / Owner background & service fees

Kern Delta Communications offers professional, certified assistance in interpersonal communication skill development and in organizational facilitation.

    •    For organizations, I provide performance improvement analysis and training in management skills, customer service, team-building and related areas.

    •    For individuals, I provide training and counseling on repairing relationships, beginning with interpersonal communication skills, the foundation of which is understanding personality types.

Owner’s Statement and Commitment:  I am an experienced performance consultant, organizational analyst, strategic facilitator and experiential trainer known for my enthusiasm, humor and for creating fun and practical learning activities that deliver measurable results.

Owner’s Background and Experience:  I was an award-winning journalist for 20 years, worked three years for California’s Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team, and spent seven years directing the workplace training and business development programs at the Weill Institute of Bakersfield College. I've had two successful small businesses, one in development of an interactive computer operating system tutorial, and the other in providing workplace training, counseling and organizational consulting. Owner’s Education:  Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior, University of San Francisco; Master of Science degree in Training and Performance Improvement, Capella University. Certified facilitator through the National Curriculum and Training Institute in Real Colors and in Crossroads Cognitive Behavior Change.

Fees for services:

Fees for workshop sessions are $400 for a half day session; this does not include costs for handout materials and travel expenses. Handout booklets, which the participants keep, are $15 per person.

Organizational performance improvement is a separate service, and on-site consulting fees are negotiable. I encourage phone calls to discuss issues confidentially, and all calls are free. Typically, on-site consulting includes interviews with key stakeholders, a comprehensive organizational needs assessment and confidential report with findings and recommendations. The report will include a gap analysis, root cause analysis and specific recommendations for interventions that may include training, coaching or other interventions. Any interventions that the organization commits to will require an evaluation plan to measure how well the intervention is working.

Sincerely Yours,
